Wedding Planning - Bomboniere Gifts for Your Reception And Other Wedding Stationery

Just like the wedding invitations you can either do them yourself or have someone else take care of it for you, depending on your budget, you may like to do some of it yourself, for example, you might like to choose the type of bomboniere that you would like to give each of your guests and choose a box that you can then put these into yourself. It is a fun idea to get your partner involved in this as well as it is something that you both can say that you contributed to on your wedding day.

When it comes to bomboniere, there are countless ideas as to what you can use. Traditionally the bomboniere was between 5-7 sugar coated almonds. Today you can still keep to the traditional gift, otherwise you can choose anything that will match the theme of your wedding. Chocolate hearts covered in colored foil is also a great bomboniere gift, as there are many colors to choose from. You could mix and match 2 different colors or you could place one big chocolate heart at each person sitting with their names attached with ribbon. Pay good attention to the detail of your bomboniere as it’s there to show appreciation to your guest for coming to your wedding.

Place cards are a great idea to let your guests know where they will be sitting and to avoid confusion on the day. You can have these made to match your invitations.

You can have the names written with a calligraphy pen or have the names printed on when ordering your other stationery.

Thank you cards are sent out to thank your guests for coming and for any wedding presents that you received on the day.

As with the place cards, it would be a good idea to keep the theme the same throughout the stationery, or if not you can decide on purchasing thank you cards from the shop. Everyone whom you received a gift from regardless of the amount that was spent should receive a thank you card. Try to send out your thank you cards within 2-3 weeks from when the wedding was held.
